While 2021 has been another difficult year due to the pandemic, we have made significant progress by getting shots in arms, money in people's pockets, helped our children return to school safely and put people back to work.

I'm in Washington this week to help pass President Biden's Build Back Better agenda, which would fund both physical infrastructure in transit and water systems and more, and human infrastructure — such as expanded health care access and free pre-K. Meanwhile, I am working to prevent a government shutdown and avoid a disastrous default on our national debt. I want to make sure you know how I am approaching these difficult, yet important issues.
