As of Friday, Oct. 28, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs announced it is no longer accepting new applications for rental assistance for tenants or landlords. If you completed and submitted your application before Oct. 28 or have a recertification pending, it will still be reviewed and processed.

As Chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet, this week in Washington I will be making remarks at the opening of the Judicial Conference of the United States.
The Judicial Conference convenes twice a year to consider administrative and policy issues affecting the federal court system, and to make recommendations to Congress concerning legislation involving the Judicial Branch.
As we prepare to observe the Labor Day weekend, I want to recognize and celebrate workers, especially those who aren't always acknowledged for what they do to help all of us in our daily lives in ways large and small.
