I’m very pleased to announce that I’m holding my 2016 Resources Fair on February 18, 2016, at Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Clarkston from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Fair will help connect constituents with local, state and federal agencies that will provide job-readiness training, information on the television & film industry and employment opportunities.

Legislation Also Reauthorizes the Job-Creating Export-Import Bank, Which Helps American Workers and Businesses Compete and Succeed in the Global Economy
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) voted with many Democratic and Republican colleagues in the House to adopt, by a vote of 359 to 65, the conference report on Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act -- a measure that reauthorizes highway, bridge, transportation safety, and public transit projects for the next five years.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) voted with 265 other Democratic and Republican Members of Congress to pass H.R. 1314, a bipartisan budget agreement that creates jobs, protects seniors, affirms the full faith and credit of the United States and invests in our future.
“I am proud to join in this bipartisan effort to find a path forward for hard-working American families. This responsible budget agreement makes significant progress on the urgent challenges facing the American people,” Rep. Johnson said.

Voting record on park issues earns National Friends Award for third time

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) was honored this month with the Friend of the National Parks Award from the nonpartisan National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) for his contribution to protecting and enhancing America’s national parks.

The award was presented for votes during the 113th Congress, which contributed to the protection and enhancement of America’s national parks.
