WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) introduced H. Res. 636 to recognize October 17 as "National Vitiligo Awareness Day."
The bipartisan resolution has more than 30 cosponsors.
Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) released the following statement upon the passing of his colleague Congressman Elijah Cummings of Maryland:
"In the fight for justice and fair play, Elijah Cummings was heavyweight champion of the world. His dedication to decency, integrity and the truth stood as an example not just to those of us who agreed with him but for all his colleagues and for all time. I am saddened by his passing and my condolences are with his loving wife Maya, his children and his entire family."

Congressman's bipartisan FAIR Act – With 222 Cosponsors – Passes House of Representatives
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Hank Johnson's (D-GA) bipartisan FAIR Act: The Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal Act, reestablishing Americans' 7th Amendment right to seek justice and accountability through the court system, passed the House of Representatives.
Rep. Johnson has introduced a bill dealing with forced arbitration clauses since he first took office in 2007.
