Congressman's bipartisan FAIR Act – With 222 Cosponsors – Passes House of Representatives

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Congressman Hank Johnson's (D-GA) bipartisan FAIR Act: The Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal Act, reestablishing Americans' 7th Amendment right to seek justice and accountability through the court system, passed the House of Representatives.

Rep. Johnson has introduced a bill dealing with forced arbitration clauses since he first took office in 2007.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday evening, the House Judiciary Committee passed a series of bills to help respond to gun violence -- H.R. 1186, the Keep Americans Safe Act; H.R. 1236, the Extreme Risk Protection Order Act of 2019; and H.R. 2708, the Disarm Hate Act, all passed out of committee on a strict party-line vote.
