I’m very pleased to announce that I’m holding my 2016 Resources Fair on February 18, 2016, at Georgia Piedmont Technical College in Clarkston from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Fair will help connect constituents with local, state and federal agencies that will provide job-readiness training, information on the television & film industry and employment opportunities.

"I want to offer my condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Justice Scalia. It does tremendous damage to the legacy of such a strict constitutionalist like Justice Scalia, for senators and others who should know better, to suggest that politics be allowed to trump providence, and that President Obama not nominate a replacement for Justice Scalia. The President has a Constitutional duty to fill this vacancy, and the U.S. Senate has a constitutional responsibility to either confirm or deny that nomination.

Congressman hosts top three winners of inaugural App Challenge

LITHONIA, GA – On Friday, Feb. 19 Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) is hosting the top three students of his inaugural App Challenge—a competition that encourages U.S. high school students to create their own mobile applications.

Johnson’s office collected more than 20 submissions from high schools in the Fourth District, which includes parts of DeKalb, Gwinnett, and Newton and all of Rockdale County.
