While Congress is coming back into session on Monday, May 1, I was in Washington last week to support H.R. 266, The Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Enhancement Act that expands help for small businesses, hospitals and testing. The interim emergency funding package will provide the emergency resources that are desperately needed to sustain frontline healthcare workers, small businesses, and our communities.

DECATUR, GA — On Thursday, April 16, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is hosting his third telephone town hall on COVID-19. He's calling more than 50,000 people in Georgia's Fourth District to answer their questions and listen to their concerns about mental health in the age of coronavirus.
A diverse group of experts will be on the call with the Congressman to address participants questions and discuss the best way for callers to maintain positive mental health practices during the pandemic.

Georgia Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson called Raffensperger's task force a "PR pitch to put himself into the good graces of Donald Trump."
He told the Georgia Recorder in an interview, "I question the motives and sincerity of the Secretary of State for creating that task force and wasting precious resources that could be put toward encouraging people to vote by mail and remain safe. It's a waste of taxpayer money. It's shameful."
