WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) recognized Arabia Mountain High School as one of just 78 schools nationwide that were named “Green-Ribbon Schools” by the Department of Education and the Environmental Protection Agency at a reception in Washington, D.C., on June 4.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-4) today participated in a Democratic Steering and Policy Committee hearing on the “Paycheck Fairness Act: Closing the Gender Wage Gap and Strengthening Economic Security for America’s Women.”
As an original cosponsor of the bill, Rep. Johnson continues a record of advocacy on behalf of working women, including his support of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and his work on the issue of discrimination against the unemployed.
CONYERS, GA -- Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) observed 2012 Memorial Day on Monday, May 28 at Conyers American Legion Post 77 in Rockdale County, where he presented flags to Blue Star mothers whose children are currently serving in Afghanistan.
For the occasion, Hank noted the debt we owe all our veterans.
