Each year, about 3,644,655 households receive an average tax return of about $2,814 which will remain in jeopardy as long as the President and Senate Republicans refuse to end the Trump Shutdown and fully re-open IRS.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) today was elected Secretary of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC).
His term begins January 3, 2019 and lasts through the 116th Congress – ending Dec. 31, 2020. The Secretary of the CBC keeps minutes of all meetings, maintains a file of all official documents and records, ensures members are notified of meetings and works in conjunction with the chair to sign or endorse any agreements, checks, drafts or notes on behalf of the CBC.
