WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) has introduced H.R. 6017, the 21^st Century Courts Act, building upon his work to make the federal court system accessible and accountable to the American public.

"Crucially, this legislation will require the Supreme Court to produce a code of ethics for themselves. "Unlike all other federal judges, Supreme Court Justices are not bound by a code of ethics," said Congressman Johnson, "The Supreme Court must create common-sense ethical standards to ensure public trust in this institution."

CLARKSTON — On Thursday, February 20, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) hosted his Restoration Resources Fair at Georgia Piedmont Technical College to help ex-offenders and the previously incarcerated find a job, receive healthcare, food assistance and get a review of their criminal record.

More than 400 participants attended the Congressman's event.

STONE MOUNTAIN— On Feb. 18, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced his office nominated 20 students to attend a U.S. Service Academy: Military Academy (West Point), Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy and the ROTC Congressional Scholarship Initiative.

The Congressman also honored two Fourth District veterans who served their country and home and abroad. The reception was held at Stone Mountain's Art Station.

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. Since the Artistic Discovery competition began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.
