Rep. Johnson Votes to Pass Heroes Act

Today, Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) voted to pass H.R. 6800, The Heroes Act.

“Our communities, workers and families urgently need more relief to weather the coronavirus crisis,” said Rep. Johnson.  “Many of our frontline heroes are at risk of losing their jobs as they risk their lives to care for us. That’s why I’m proud to vote to pass the Heroes Act today – to protect Georgia families and ensure all our frontline heroes have the support they need to continue to save lives and keep our communities safe and healthy. It’s critical aid to help state and local governments overcome the economic disruption. Such assistance protects the jobs of public safety employees, teachers, transit workers and other essential employees who provide vital services that people depend on.”
