CMS will host a series of public engagement events this spring as part of the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Program. The virtual public engagement events will provide an opportunity for patients, beneficiaries, caregivers, consumer and patient organizations, and other interested parties, such as clinicians and researchers, to share input relevant to drugs selected for the second cycle of negotiations.

This legislation was passed by the Senate yesterday – and was passed in the House today. It will now head to the President’s desk for signature. It funds the federal government until Sept. 2023.

Classified as a rare cancer of the spine and skull, chordoma is diagnosed in just 1,000 people worldwide every year, 300 of whom are in the United States.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Hepatitis Caucus Co-Chairs Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), Congresswoman Grace Meng (NY-06), along with HIV/AIDS Caucus Chair Congresswoman Barbara Lee (CA-13), sent a letter with 11 House colleagues to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services requesting support for the designation of September 9th as "National African Immigrant and Refugee HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis Awareness (NAIRHHA) Day."
