Held at Georgia Piedmont Technical College campus in Clarkston, the Sept. 18 event included one-on-one sessions, panel discussions and a working lunch roundtable.

Thousands of our fellow Georgians and millions in Floridians remain without power due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irma, but crews are working around the clock to remedy this difficult situation.

In fact, my household and the homes of several members of my district staff did not have power restored until Wednesday evening.
