Rep. Johnson Invites 2 Fourth District Residents Who Benefitted From The American Rescue Plan as Virtual Guests to President Biden's Joint Address to Congress 100 Days into Administration
CONYERS, GA – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is uplifting a constituent from Rockdale County and a constituent from Newton County as his virtual guests to President Biden's Joint Address to Congress on Wednesday night.
As our communities and economy have been ravaged by COVID-19, the country has come together to recognize the sacrifices of those filling essential roles to keep our nation safe and moving forward.
While we all recognize America's essential workforce, we must not forget about the millions of immigrants who go under-recognized — and often unappreciated — for their outsized contributions and service to our country.
DECATUR, GA – On Saturday, April 17, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) hosted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for an Instagram Live event to discuss the American Rescue Plan, The American Jobs Plan, vaccines and the Jan. 6 riot and its aftermath.

"Our Community Health Centers have always been the go-to source for my constituents seeking quality, affordable health care and now they are critical players in our response to COVID-19," Rep. Hank Johnson, whose district includes these health centers, said in a news release. "More help is on the way to them through the American Rescue Plan so they can redouble their efforts to get more shots in arms and save more lives from this pandemic."
Congressman Hank Johnson (D-Georgia) said his April 7 virtual event will "help people understand how they can benefit from the various provisions of the bill by connecting constituents with resources under the plan."
DECATUR, GA – Today, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced that two Fourth District Community Health Centers will receive a total of $6.5 million in American Rescue Plan funds to expand their COVID-19 vaccination and treatment operations. The resources are part of the American Rescue Plan's investments to expand access to vaccines in underserved communities.
Fourth District-based federal community health centers receiving funds:
• Oakhurst Medical Centers of Stone Mountain: $5,481,500
• Recovery Consultants, Inc. of Decatur: $976,875
