School District Slated For 25 Electric School Buses Under EPA’s Clean School Bus Grant Program

STONE MOUNTAIN — Today, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) – a senior member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee – celebrated the announcement that DeKalb County Schools are being awarded $20 million to purchase 25 all-electric school buses under an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) grant program.

The Inflation Reduction Act will deliver landmark investments to lower Georgia families' kitchen table costs, create nine million good-paying union jobs, combat the climate crisis and dramatically reduce the deficit.
