Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) celebrated the winners of his third-annual Congressional App Challenge at a Feb. 3 reception for the students, teachers, parents and judges who participated in this year's competition.
DECATUR, GA – On Saturday, February 3 from 1–3 p.m., Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is holding his third-annual Congressional App Challenge reception at the Fernbank Science Center as a part of a nationwide program that celebrates bright young minds across the country.
Congressman Hank Johnson held a telephone town hall from his Washington, D.C. office on Wednesday, January 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. He called 40,000 residents in the Fourth District to hear their thoughts on what they would like to see him work on in 2018.
Mr. Johnson spoke to residents for more than an hour and 20 minutes on such topics as the immigration, taxes, President Trump, assistance with federal agencies and help for veterans -- among many other important topics.
COVINGTON, Ga. – U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson visited Newton County Thursday afternoon to bring books to Flint Hill Elementary School. The congressman presented surplus books from the Library of Congress to the school's media center along with an American flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol. Johnson delivers books to Anderson-Livsey Elementary School
U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson, D-Ga., recently got to play Santa Claus to three local school libraries, including one in Gwinnett County.
Johnson delivered books to Anderson-Livsey Elementary School in Snellville as part of his Nov. 27 tour of three schools. The congressman's office said the books were made available to the schools through the Library of Congress' surplus books program.
