DECATUR, GA – On Saturday, February 3 from 1–3 p.m., Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is holding his third-annual Congressional App Challenge reception at the Fernbank Science Center as a part of a nationwide program that celebrates bright young minds across the country.


February 2, 2018

Congressman Hank Johnson held a telephone town hall from his Washington, D.C. office on Wednesday, January 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. He called 40,000 residents in the Fourth District to hear their thoughts on what they would like to see him work on in 2018.

Mr. Johnson spoke to residents for more than an hour and 20 minutes on such topics as the immigration, taxes, President Trump, assistance with federal agencies and help for veterans -- among many other important topics.

COVINGTON, Ga. – U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson visited Newton County Thursday afternoon to bring books to Flint Hill Elementary School. The congressman presented surplus books from the Library of Congress to the school's media center along with an American flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol. Johnson also spoke to students about the importance of reading, studying and treating each other with respect.

Johnson delivered the books to schools in both DeKalb and Gwinnett counties: Anderson-Livsey Elementary School in Gwinnett; and Fairington Elementary School and Flat Rock Elementary School, both in DeKalb.
