WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Hank Johnson¬ (GA-04) – ranking member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet and author of the Arbitration Fairness Act – issued the following statement after signing on to the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to overturn the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) partisan decision on Net Neutrality:

Congressman Hank Johnson held a telephone town hall from his Washington, D.C. office on Wednesday, January 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. He called 40,000 residents in the Fourth District to hear their thoughts on what they would like to see him work on in 2018.

Mr. Johnson spoke to residents for more than an hour and 20 minutes on such topics as the immigration, taxes, President Trump, assistance with federal agencies and help for veterans -- among many other important topics.

Congressman scores leadership post on Judiciary Subcommittee charged with administration of courts, intellectual property

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced Tuesday that he was elected by his peers to lead the Judiciary Subcommittee – Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet.

The subcommittee has jurisdiction over administration of U.S. Courts, federal rules of evidence, civil and appellate procedure, judicial ethics, patent, copyright and trademark law, information technology and the Internet.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Henry C. "Hank" Johnson, Jr. (GA-04) today made the following statement today after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted 3-2 to rollback rules on Net Neutrality.

"I condemn the FCC decision today to do away with Net Neutrality. U.S. taxpayers paid for the research and development of the World Wide Web, and we deserve for the Internet to remain a platform open to all content treated equally and without discrimination.
