Hank Johnson, Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet, delivered opening remarks at a hearing focused on strengthening copyright protections while ensuring public access to laws and standards.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), Congresswoman Nikema Williams (GA-05) and Congresswoman Kim Schrier MD (WA-08) sent a letter to Centers for Diseases Control & Prevention (CDC) Acting Director James O'Neill and the advisory panel it oversees urging them to maintain the existing recommendations in support of the birth dose of the hepatitis B vaccine. The advisory panel is scheduled to discuss and vote on the hepatitis B birth dose recommendation during its two-day meeting starting Dec.

WASHINGTON, D.C.   On Monday, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), ranking member of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet, and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), announced that they re-introduced the FAIR Act: The Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal Act, re-establishing Americans’ 7th Amendment right to seek justice and accountability through the court system.

(Helping Other People Elevate) from August 11-16 to celebrate nonprofits, their importance to our community and to give back to the community through volunteerism. Held in conjunction with National Nonprofit Day, it was a week of uplift and celebration of the critical work of community-based organizations.
