Trump signals executive order to end separation of families at border
COVINGTON, Ga. — At least two of the men who represent Newton County in Congress say they want to see change in a “zero-tolerance” immigration policy that’s resulted in the separation of families at the border.
Lawmakers representing Georgia on Capitol Hill had much to say following the summit held in Singapore between President Donald Trump and North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un. The two concluded the summit on Tuesday by signing a document reaffirming North Korea’s commitment to de-nuclearization and pledging “security guarantees” to North Korea by the US.
Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced the 25 students who were nominated to attend a U.S. Service Academy: Military Academy (West Point), Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy and Merchant Marine Academy.
