Rep. Hank Johnson points to lawmaker's record on civil rights.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), delivered remarks of the Floor of the House of Representatives to honor the late Ron Dellums, Oakland Mayor and 13-term Bay Area Member of Congress. Below are the Congressman's remarks:
"What you're doing, man, I really appreciate," Congressman Johnson told Savage, who smiled quietly at the acknowledgment. "These are the folks that we represent. These are our people and their children. You're doing good things in our community, and we want you to continue to do good things in our community."
Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) has received the 2018 "Bill Hardman, Sr. Tourism Champion Award in Government."
Johnson received the award on Aug. 29 at the 2018 Georgia Governor's Tourism Conference, which was held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.
