WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, in light of the American Bar Association’s groundbreaking call for the Supreme Court to enact a binding code of ethics with an enforcement mechanism, Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence and the Internet, led a letter with his democratic subcommittee colleagues urging Chief Justice John Roberts and Supreme Court Justices adopt a binding ethics code with an enforceable code of conduct.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Henry C. “Hank” Johnson (GA-04) reintroduced a resolution calling on Congress to award the Congressional Gold Medal to the Freedom Riders, a group of civil rights activists whose courageous actions in 1961 helped dismantle racial segregation in interstate travel.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced today that the City of Stone Mountain has been awarded $92,985 from the Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) as part of the Fiscal Year 2024 Safer Outcomes: Enhancing De-Escalation and Crisis Response Training for Law Enforcement grant program.
