WASHINGTON, D.C. – As President Barack Obama prepares to announce an executive action that takes steps toward fixing our broken immigration system, Rep. Johnson released the following statement:

“Just as past presidents have used executive orders to move society forward, President Obama is using his authority to boldly push the nation ahead on immigration reform,” said Johnson.

Congressman Johnson ranked 18 out of more than 200 Democrats in House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – According to a new study by Vanderbilt University and the University of Virginia (UVA), Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) was ranked as the 18th most effective Democrat in the House during the 112th Congress, and the most effective Democrat from Georgia.

He was also ranked higher than any of his Republican colleagues from Georgia. Johnson was ranked 18 out of 204 Democrats.
