WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced today that the City of Stone Mountain has been awarded $92,985 from the Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) as part of the Fiscal Year 2024 Safer Outcomes: Enhancing De-Escalation and Crisis Response Training for Law Enforcement grant program.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is proud to announce that the Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS), located in Georgia’s 4th Congressional District, has been awarded $240,046 through the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Fiscal Year 2024 Citizenship and Integration Grant Program.
This funding will support CPACS in providing essential citizenship preparation services to lawful permanent residents, empowering them on their path to becoming U.S. citizens while fostering integration into American society.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced today the winners of the 2024 Congressional App Challenge (CAC) for Georgia’s Fourth Congressional District. This annual district-specific competition invites students to create and submit their original apps, showcasing their talent in coding, STEM, and computer science. More than 40 students competed from four high schools from throughout Georgia’s Fourth. The first-place winners will travel to Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA), ranking member of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, sent a letter to Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch urging him to recuse in the Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County, Colo. case due to conflicts of interest.
