Recent revelations that Facebook allowed the data of 87 million of its American users to be highjacked and misused for partisan political purposes by online predators highlights the need for Congress to take swift action to address the need for digital privacy.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) released the following statement recognizing Equal Pay Day, which marks how far into the year a woman must work, on average, to earn as much as a man earned the previous year.
...Fourth District U.S. Rep. Hank Johnson reflected on what King would see looking at America now – 50 years since his death and 150 years since the Emancipation Proclamation.
Johnson said he believed King would be proud that an African-American president had been elected twice, serving without scandal, and that he would be proud of the nation's youth who have united to march for common causes.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) today joined Reps. Don Beyer (D-VA), David Cicilline (D-RI), and 64 House Democrats calling for the immediate dismissal of EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. In a letter to President Donald Trump, the Representatives raised Pruitt's unethical behavior, wasteful use of taxpayer money, and numerous actions, which contravened the EPA's mission.
