E-newsletters

Dear Friends,

Health insurance can protect you from astronomical costs when you’re in a serious accident or you get sick. A three-day hospital stay can cost as much as $30,000. The cost of treating a broken leg can cost up to $7,500. Health insurance can help protect you from unexpected costs that could become a financial burden to you and the ones you love. This may lead to damaging your credit and affecting other aspects of your life.

That’s why it’s important for everyone to know that open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act begins November 1st and ends December 15th.

To help get the word out, I will be participating in a Healthcare Open Enrollment Kickoff event on Saturday, Nov. 4, 1 p.m. at the Refugee Wellness Center, 3729 Church Street, Clarkston, Ga. 30021.

Join me in Clarkston to meet navigators and other healthcare experts who can provide you with the information and tools you need to complete the enrollment process for health insurance.

If you don’t receive your health insurance through your employer, Medicare, Medicaid or the VA, this event is your chance to make changes and find the plan(s) that work best for you and your family.

If you can’t make the event on Nov. 4, keep in mind that Nov. 1st is fast-approaching, so be sure to visit HealthCare.gov or go to Insure GA for dates and times of events that can provide assistance near you.

Take the time to learn about your options and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
