Happy Thanksgiving from Congressman Hank Johnson
Dear Friends,
I want to thank everyone who joined us at Rockdale County's Walk of Heroes on Veterans Day to honor our veterans and families who have given the ultimate sacrifice. It was an honor not only to join other elected officials but to visit with so many of our veterans and their families. I was also pleased to announce the introduction of my bipartisan bill to designate Nov. 9 as "Gold Star Father's Day" nationally. Congressman Rob Woodall cosponsored the legislation.
In addition to being a busy month in the district, I have also been working hard in Washington to protect local communities from being displaced by developers, protecting the environment, holding the Administration accountable and voting to move the Equal Rights Amendment forward.
I also want to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving and a blessed holiday. I look forward to getting back to work for the Fourth District after a brief break with family.
As always, I appreciate your time and feedback. Please remember you can reach me on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as well as e-mails, phone calls and letters. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to represent you in Congress. Please have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!
