Congressman Johnson's E-Newsletter for Sept. 8, 2016
Dear Friends,
After a seven-week district work period, the House is back in session and it’s time for us to get to work and address a number of public health emergencies. I will be joining my House Democratic colleagues to continue to urge our Republican colleagues to fund a response to the Zika virus, the Flint water crisis, and opioid addiction, as well as allow a vote on common-sense measures to prevent gun violence. We will also be voting on funding the government this month and hopefully breaking a deadlock over the defense budget. For more, click HERE.
