Service Academy Nominations Overview

For Students and Parents:

As your representative, I am honored to nominate outstanding students for our nation's Service Academies. Here’s a quick guide to the nomination process:

1. Application Process:

• Direct Application: Apply directly to the Academy you are interested in.
• Nomination Requirement: For most Service Academies (U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy) you need a Congressional nomination. Note: The U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require a Congressional nomination.

2. How to Apply:

• Online Application: Email and/or print and mail your application.
• Required Documents:
  • Complete application packet with a photograph
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Official academic transcript in a sealed envelope
  • SAT/ACT scores (ACT: 7354; SAT: 1530)

3. Important Deadlines:

Submission Deadline: Completed applications must be received by Monday, October 27, 2025, at 5:00 pm. Send materials to:

4. This is for Georgia's Fourth Congressional District:

• Application Period: July 1, 2025, to October 27, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
• Submit Materials: Include a questionnaire, recommendation forms, headshot, unofficial transcripts, and test scores.
• Interview Date: November 8, 2025

Additional Tip: Reach out to both Senator Warnock and Senator Ossoff and your local House Representative for additional nomination opportunities, as each office has a limited number of nominations.
