Military Academy Nominations
Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies. As your 4th District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of students to four of the five service academies.
United States Congressional Service Scholarship Application Checklist
- Candidate Application – Complete the application packet and attach an appropriate photograph.
- Letters of Recommendation – Each applicant is required to submit two (2) letters of recommendation.
- Academic Transcript - Official transcripts must be in a sealed envelope with a signature across the seal.
- Standardized Test Results – ACT and SAT scores must be submitted with your application packet.

Notification of interviews will be sent via letter after all documents have been submitted.
***Deadline – Completed application packets must be received at GA04noms@mail.house.gov or at the Decatur office by MONDAY, OCTOBER 24th by 5:00pm. No exceptions will be made***

Fall 2021 USNA Admissions Candidate Visit
The United States Naval Academy office of Admissions is offering two in-person candidate visit options.
There are two options: 1) Candidate Tour (CANDIDATES ONLY): This three-hour tour will take you across the school grounds, giving you an up-close look at the campus and facilities available to our Midshipmen. 2) Candidate Visit Weekend (CVW)(PARENTS/ GUARDIANS WELCOME FOR FRIDAY ONLY, NO OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ALLOWED): This three-day experience will allow candidates to reside in Bancroft Hall, eat meals with the Midshipmen and shadow classes. Candidates will experience life as a Midshipmen.
