Statement on the Passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04), chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet, released the following statement on the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:

“We have lost another figure of historical proportions. Throughout her life, Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a shining light. Every day, she showed us all how good we can be — the good we can do. Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she changed, the women she inspired to enter the legal profession, and the fight she refused to walk away from — we are a more just, more equal, and a more perfect union because of her efforts.”
