Rep. Johnson streaming Q&A session with students via live Periscope feed
Congressman will host Horton’s Kids students to discuss STEM education via Twitter’s live stream app
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 7-7:30 p.m., Rep. Hank Johnson (GA-04) will host 15 middle-school students/mentees from the Horton’s Kids mentoring program – a community-based organization that serves 500 children, grades K through 12, living in an underserved area of Washington, D.C.
The Congressman and students will participate in a live stream Q&A session through the Periscope app that broadcasts directly to Twitter @RepHankJohnson. The exchange will focus on Rep. Johnson’s experiences as a Congressman, his time as a youth in D.C. and the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) education and diversity in the technology sector.
