National Association of Chinese Americans holding ACA event in Clarkston with congressman

LITHONIA, GA – On Saturday, Feb. 1 from 1 to 4 p.m., Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) is co-hosting a free information event on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) at Georgia Piedmont Technical College on North Indian Creek Drive in Clarkson.

Small business owners and individuals can receive help applying for health insurance through the marketplace exchanges created under the ACA. Certified community health centers and navigators will assist qualified applicants.

“One of the challenges concerning health care reform is educating people about what the law means for them, and cutting through the misinformation,” said Johnson. “It is essential that we take advantage of the opportunity to help our constituents understand the ACA, to explain and help implement the law so people without health insurance can get the coverage they and their family need,” said Rep. Johnson.
