With the March 31 deadline to get coverage this year looming, Rep. Johnson is taking a proactive approach to inform his constituents about the benefits of the law and direct them to resources to help them and/or their family members to sign up.

During the hour-long call, Rep. Johnson and his special guest, Dr. Pamela Rochelle Regional Director of the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services fielded participant’s questions about the Affordable Care Act and the enrollment process.

“With 40 days of open enrollment left this year – my top priority is reaching every constituent who needs access to quality, affordable insurance to help them understand how to sign up,” said Johnson. “There’s so much misinformation out there about the law – we just tried to bring them the facts and let them decide what’s best for them.”
