Congressman Johnson welcomes new legislative counsel

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Hank Johnson (GA-04) announced today the appointment of Whitney A. Marshall as his new legislative counsel.
Rep. Johnson’s previous counselor, Slade Bond, is now staffing the Congressman in his role as ranking member of the House Judiciary subcommittee on Regulatory Reform, Commercial and Antitrust Law.
Marshall is a graduate of Wake Forest University and William & Mary Law School. A Greensboro, N.C. native, Marshall was most recently employed in Congressman Mel Watt’s office (NC-12). Marshall will staff the Congressman for his Judiciary Committee work and continue the Congressman’s focus on privacy and technology issues.
