Appropriations Requests
FISCAL YEAR (FY) 2025 APPROPRIATIONS REQUESTS
We are excited to launch our FY 2025 appropriations request and community project funding (CPF) submission portal. If you are interested in submitting appropriations requests for the new fiscal year, please find our forms below for each category of request. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 26 at noon.
General Programmatic and Language Requests:
Please use this form to submit all general programmatic and report/bill language appropriations requests. These are typically requests for overall funding levels or program language and do not name specific entities which will receive funding.
Community Project Funding (CPF) Requests:
Please use this form to submit all Community Project Funding (CPF) requests. This initiative allows Members of Congress to request direct funding for projects that benefit the communities they represent. CPF is separate from federal grants and funding apportioned by formula. For more information, visit the House Appropriations Committee website for more details here.
Please carefully read over each subcommittee’s eligibility guidance to ensure your organization meets all the necessary criteria for a successful submission. Memorials, museums, or commemorative works are no longer eligible for CPF funding across all subcommittees. The following five (5) subcommittees are once again not accepting CPF submissions for FY 2025: Defense; Financial Services and General Government; Labor, Health and Human Services, Education; State, Foreign Operations; and Legislative Branch. We also strongly urge your organization to carefully review the strict transparency and accountability guidelines from each subcommittee to ensure your project is eligible before you make a request. If you still have questions on project eligibility or which accounts would be acceptable for your project, please reach out to my D.C. office right away. *Please note that CPF guidance for each subcommittee has not yet been released for FY 2025, and there may be additional changes in criteria than previous years.* We will work with all stakeholders to address substantive changes to ensure your projects are fully compliant with any potential new rules.
Once again, CPF funding remains at the discretion of the House Appropriations Committee and both chambers of Congress. While my staff and I will fight for the highest level of funding for your request, this funding is not guaranteed, nor is the level of funding that we request for your project.
For any questions regarding programmatic or language requests and CPF funding requests, please contact our Legislative Director, Jocilyn Gilbert, by email at Jocilyn.Gilbert@mail.house.gov or phone at (202) 225-1605. The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 26 at noon.
