Voting by mail gains traction, but advocates warn it’s not ‘a panacea’
Georgia Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson called Raffensperger’s task force a “PR pitch to put himself into the good graces of Donald Trump.”
He told the Georgia Recorder in an interview, “I question the motives and sincerity of the Secretary of State for creating that task force and wasting precious resources that could be put toward encouraging people to vote by mail and remain safe. It’s a waste of taxpayer money. It’s shameful.”
“Shame on those pseudo patriots who are doing everything they can to stop people from exercising their fundamental right to vote,” Johnson added.
